about men and business wear
Haha. This post is more of a reply post to min's recent entry regarding my comment on men looking sexy in office wear.
I totally agree with you, babe, that the key is a nice fit. the shoulder length, the sleeve and all. the worst is when the shirt's so tight you can see their nipples. it's unsightly (unsightly IS an understatement). OH! the pants is pretty important too. I hate to see men wearing pants that are a tad too tight for their *ahem butt. and it just looks like two
bazhang hanging below the poor waist. um and i prefer low waist pants. heehee.
i think the reason why we think men in office wear are eye candies is, because we kinda prefer matured men? i dont know. like maybe when we see our bfs wearing shirt and pants..it kinda make them look grown up and...whatever. maybe a greater sense of security cuz men who dressed like that are associated with working adults and working adults means income and income means money and money means...shopping? heh. *whatever
and i really like it when they wear shirts with some nice prints on them. but apparently those tt i picked for him (and he bought it) are not nice in his mum's eyes. hmpf. his mum prefers plain shirts with nothing on them (except for a pocket of cos). but shouldnt they wear something more interesting when work is already such a bore?
during the pre-internship period (equals buy-office-wear period), i was so obsessed with buying shirts and ties with him that i bought 100 over bucks worth of ties for him. and i actually got a membership card without knowing that there's such a thing in that boutique. it's a fun time helping him match shirts with ties! i cant wait for the time when he really starts working hahaha.
min - you mentioned about saving money to buy an apartment? you know jackson and i had our eyes on this condo (Park Infinia, go check out!) and we're trying to save up for it (i have no idea how cuz i think it's prolly a 6-digit figure with maybe 9 as the first digit) and we have been talking about how life's gonna be like when we get married and move in and shop for furnitures and stuffs...*nods* yes all these despite the
uncertainties, babe :) you know what i mean?
